Please see the following tentative schedule for the Ouachita Workforce Development Board.
All regular board meetings are public meetings, held quarterly.
In-person meetings are held at the Ouachita American Job Center located at 24 Accent Drive, Suite 151, Monroe, LA 71202.
Committee meetings will be scheduled as necessary and determined by the respective chair.

Selection of the One-Stop Operator
“The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires local workforce development boards to competitively procure an Operator of the local One-Stop Center/American Job Center at least once every four years.
ABG Professional Development Solutions was selected by the Ouachita Workforce Development Board 81 as the One-Stop Operator and WIOA Service Provider for the Ouachita American Job Center beginning April 1, 2019. The role of the One-Stop Operator is to ensure a seamless delivery of services from all partners and service providers.”

“On, July 1, 2023, Ouachita Workforce Development Board 81 was awarded $1,186,848 in federal funds from LA Workforce Commission for services to youth, adults, and dislocated workers in accordance with WIOA sections 128(b)(2)(A), 133 (b)(2)(A), 133 (b)(2)(B) and Louisiana’s WIOA Combined State Plan. WIOA agreement funding for PY23/FY24 as per TEGL 15-22. ”
