Ouachita Parish is a large place to keep litter free. One of the most effective ways to keep it looking clean and beautiful is participation in the "Adopt a Road / Adopt a Spot" project. Signing up is an easy process.
- Interested groups agree to pick up litter by a roadside area or adopted spot for a 2 year period
- The group must fill out an Adopt a Road/Spot application
- Volunteers will be given safety vests
- Volunteers will be given an orientation with helpful safety tips
